Program Day-by-Day

VIP Brazil has no fixed departure dates. We plan One-of-a-Kind Luxury Travel completely designed for you. Call our travel planners now to see how easy it is... 800.772.9188.

Our Itinerary was designed after a complete research of the South East coast of Brazil. This area is called "Litoral Sudeste". The description that follows will allow you to imagine the tour that we are offering. Our tour is carefully planned to cater to the most demanding traveler.

We compiled an itinerary where our guests will be staying in private houses, having their own bedroom with a private bathroom, their exclusive van, their own boat and even a Chef de Cuisine. This experience is mostly recommended for small groups of 6-8 people with some kind of knowledge amongst them to assure an enjoyable memory.

Your private chef Ricardo Rossi has training from Buckingham Palace and from working within the Deluxe Hotel Industry in Brazil and throughout South America for the past 15 years. VIP Brazil provides a safe and innovative way to travel. The main objective of VIP Brazil is to offer a unique experience to travelers by providing an unforgettable journey. We will constantly test and revise our programs and itineraries, always in search of the best locations and natural attractions in order to optimize the experience in Brazil. We will escort every tour coming to Brazil, working hard and being humble and respectful of the local communities and historical treasures.

Day 1

Arrival in Sao Paulo and departure to Tabatinga

Arriving in Sao Paulo International Airport Guarulhos will be the beginning of our amazing journey. Our Representative will be greeting you at the airport with a fresh "agua de coco" (coconut water). We will handle your luggage and escort you to a first class van. The ride to Tabatinga is approximately 2.5 hours.

Upon our arrival to Tabatinga you will be greeted and served with the most famous Brazilian drink, the great Caipirinha. You will be introduced to your private chef who will be busy preparing the authentic and original Brazilian barbecue lunch.

Next, a leisurely afternoon during which you could relax or go to the beach only a few steps away from the house. A golf cart is available and will be ready to take you there if you prefer not to walk. The outdoor pool with a nice Jacuzzi (hydro massage system) is also available to the guests. In the afternoon we will return to the house to shower, relax and then go for an evening and dinner in a local Restaurant in the Tabatinga area..

Day 2

Trip to Ilhabela

Our Van will take us to the pier where we will be boarding our boat for the rest of the day. We will go to Ilhabela, known as the sailing capital of Latin America.

We will point out the rarely visited islands and stop for snorkeling. The vast sea fauna is breathtaking and will present a panorama of the sea world.

Lunch will be served in one of the most unique Restaurants in the Islands; we could call it a Restaurant with a view.

That evening, your chef will invite you to savor the wonders of the seafood world with his cooking.

Day 3

Trip to Paraty

Morning departure to Paraty in a van for a couple of hours drive.
At midpoint we will stop at local distillery for a taste of some special liquors and freshly grilled home made linguica (sausages).

Now you are ready for some history and Paraty is history in itself. A small city created more than 300 years ago to transport gold from the mines back to Europe. At that time the area was known as the Gold Trail.

Arriving in Paraty we will see the city's picture postcard view which consists of the main church guarding the port and hundreds of homes and shops that have to be maintained on the outside as they were when originally built because they are all historical landmarks. Surrounded on 3 sides by the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlantica) and next to the active Marina, the church is the major reference point to local sailors and fisherman.

Your accommodations will be in a beautiful house, which is part of Brazilian history. Located on an exclusive corner of Paraty, with a private beach, bordered by palm trees, bamboos, guava trees and many other exotic plants, our colonial house contains years of history that will allow us to relive the Brazilian way of life, that began some three hundred years ago, living like emperors.

After a meal, you are ready to relax for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset on our private beach. At this time and for those who feel a bit thirsty, Caipirinhas will be served to help you appreciate this special time of the day.

For dinner we will be going to a local restaurant in downtown Paraty.
Cars are not allowed on the beautiful narrow cobble stone roads, typical houses of the area have many memories from the past making this part of the city the main attraction.

Our founders the Portuguese, created a very unique street cleaning system. At certain times of the year, there is a unique phenomenon where the sea water rises from the normal levels, gets into the city through special openings in the walls that surround the city, flooding the streets, cleaning it and then receding back to the sea.

Day 4

Paraty

First day in Paraty! After breakfast, we will depart on an excursion to discover the secret of the famous Caipirinhas, the authentic Cachaca distilleries. Next, a lunch brake on the tour where we will enjoy a very traditional meal at the Fazenda (farm), the famous ¨Feijoada¨.

This tour will take us very close to the mystic waterfalls in the middle of the local rainforest. Bathing in the natural pools formed at the bottom of the falls is said to be very soothing for the body and soul.

The afternoon is reserved for leisure time. Comfortable hammocks are available for a good nap for those who do not wish to visit the beach or the pool.

In the evening we will visit the local stores, where you will have the opportunity to purchase some of the local handcrafts. After shopping, dinner will be at a local traditional restaurant where the chef is also the entertainer, not only preparing a memorable meal but he will play guitar and sing for you.

Return to the house where a collection of DVDs, board games and playing cards are available for those are not quite ready for a nightcap and bed.

Day 5

Paraty

Today, we must prepare ourselves for a very special day. We will tour some of the most beautiful sites of the undiscovered Brazil in the islands.

There are 65 islands of the coast of Paraty, the crystal-clear green waters and the pureness of the islands that we will see today will take us to a dream world making it the best time of our lives.

This will be one of the most relaxing days on the tour onboard our boat and we will tour among the natural beauties of the islands, stopping at deserted beaches for a swim and strategic points for snorkeling.

Lunch will be at a restaurant on one of the islands from which there is a breathtaking view of Paraty. So quiet, so peaceful that it will make it difficult for you to return to the boat.

Continuing the trip, relax on board during the afternoon. There will be more islands to be rediscovered and more beauties to be seen.

In the late afternoon we will return to the house where our chef will surprise us with an amazing dinner to complete this great day, full of sensations. .

Day 6

Paraty to Angra dos Reis

Do not feel sorry to leave Paraty because our next stop, Angra, is ready to amaze us with its 365 islands, one for each day of the year.

We will go to the house in Angra, which was specially chosen because of the beautiful view of the ocean. Lunch will be served after our arrival, where our Chef will delight us with some local specialties.

In the afternoon we will take a ride on the Angra streets, touring the Navy Headquarters with its private marina, the village and local attractions.

Dinner will be in a local restaurant serving traditional local delicacies. Coffee and liquors will be served at home, in our private deck.br>

Day 7

Angra dos Reis

As we understand how sad it is to leave a place with 365 islands, our seventh day of tour will be dedicated to explore a few of the other fantastic islands in Angra. Our boat is ready to take you to your next happy adventure.

Our first stop, Isla Grande (Long Island) is an island with more than 190 square kilometers and more than 100 beaches.

Downtown Isla Grande has a few shops, bars and restaurants and will be part of our tour. Lunch will be served at one of the most exquisite local restaurants on the island.

Return to the boat and continue with our visit to some of the most famous privately owned islands. If you think the view from the boat is outstanding, don't forget to look down… to the bottom of the sea. The water in Angra dos Reis is so clear that will allow you to see more than 8 meters down (25 feet).

The famous island of Caras (the island of the rich and famous), and the island belonging to Ivo Pitanguy (the world's best known plastic surgeon) will also be part of this tour.
