Program Day-by-Day
São Paulo is recognized as one of the best cities in the world for single people with its great nightlife and outstanding food. Since most people leave the city on the weekends, the weekdays are the best nights to go out on the town. (Note that all the dates for this tour start on a Tuesday.) We can also arrange “concert tixs” for MPB music (Brazilian popular music), or a helicopter tour by-night. Since São Paulo is not as bombarded with tourists as Rio, you will find people to be more curious and very interested in meeting you. Learning a few basic words in Portuguese can get the party started.
Next,we fly you to the island of Florianópolis, nick-named “Floripa”, in the southern state of Santa Catarina. This area is famous for beautiful faces and some of the best beaches and activities in Brazil. It is the home of international super model Giselle Bundchen… and although not all Gaúchas look like Giselle, maybe there IS something in the water…
Day 1
Arrive in São Paulo in the morning. Private car transfer to the Grand Hyatt, with easy access to the “party district.” Rest in afternoon. You will be picked up in the evening for dinner at one of Sao Paulo’s three most famous restaurants: Fasano, Massimo or Figueira Rubayat, accompanied by your private guide. .
Day 2
After breakfast, your guide will take you to see São Paulo’s best cultural venues. Lunch at a São Paulo “churrascaria” (BBQ), followed by an afternoon shopping in the “Jardins” district, the “Fifth Avenue” of Sao Paulo. In the evening, your guide, specialized in the top bars and clubs of the city, will take you to experience the incredible intensity of São Paulo’s nightlife. .
Day 3
Upon arrival in Florianopolis. You’ll be greeted and transferred to Praia Mole Park Hotel, on the bluff above Praia Mole Beach. The day is open for relaxing or exploring the area. Dinner at a typical local restaurant, followed by a tour of Florianopolis’ night-life. .
Day 4
Today, you will take a city tour and see the Metropolitan Cathedral, Government Palace and gardens, the Paraguay War Monument, and go to the top of Cruz Hill to appreciate the view of Jose Mendes, Coqueiros, Itaguaçu and Bom Abrigo beaches, and the Colombo Salles bridge. .
Day 5
After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to the marina for a full day motor yacht rental. Explore all the fabulous Florianopolis beaches by boat, and perhaps invite the local sunbathers for a caipirinha on board, always a treat for any beachgoer. .
Day 6
Full day at leisure to enjoy a last day in Florianopolis and shop for treasures to take home with you.
Day 7
Relax in morning. Afternoon checkout and transfer to the airport where you proceed to your next destination or return home. .
