Program Day-by-Day
Customized to meet the expectations of even the most demanding guest. You will be personally escorted by our English speaking tour guide. Japanese or German guides are also available upon request.
Day 1
Arrive Rio De Janeiro Airport. Your tour guide will meet you at your gate and a chauffeured car will take you to your private penthouse apartment. Private cook will make lunch on your balcony. Afternoon Jeep Tour through luscious Tijuca Floresta Rain Forest, showing exoticism (cultural and natural) of the most beautiful City in the World. The open jeep will give you a better view of the contrast between the ocean and the forest and between the luxurious condominiums and the favelas (ghettos) of Rio. With the help of an ecological guide, the tourist will learn about the ecosystem of the Mata Atlantica and the flora, fauna that grows within. Late Dinner at in Apartment.
Day 2
Morning Breakfast. Private tour of Sugar Loaf by cable car and & Corcovado. Lunch at Rio’s most famous Churrascaria. Afternoon free to explore world famous Copacabana Beach… which is right outrside your door.
Day 3
Visit Sugar loaf mountain and visit places where fancy clothes and costumes are being produced for Carnaval. Only available from October to February. Nighttime look at “Carnival behind scene” and perhaps the best way to feel the heart of Carnival in Rio. Join this exclusive look at "the world's greatest party". Visit a "barracao" or "samba workshop", where devoted artisans use simple materials to craft the opulent floats and costumes that dominate the Carnival Parade. Next, visit the “SAMBO'DROMO" (where the parade takes place) for a tour of this unique stadium and its museum.
Day 4
Day tour to Petropolis a city located in the mountains called Serra dos Orgaos, only one hour from Rio de Janeiro. There we will visit the Imperial Museum, old summer residence of the imperial family during the 19thCentury. We will be able to see a fabulous collection of art objects and jewels, including the famous Imperial Crown. During our stay in Petropolis, we will visit the Crystal Palace and the Sao Pedro de Alcantara Neolithic Cathedral.
Late afternoon drive up through the mountains to Petropolis for a scenic tour. We have arranged a very special dinner for you at a unique Bed & Breakfast called “Locanda Della Mimosa” owned by Chef Danio Braga, including a special wine tasting and tour of his private wine celler.
Day 5 - 8
Helicopter scenic flight up the coast to Buzios where you will stay at a private beachhouse in Praia do Canto. This home is near the center of Buzios, close to the night life and restaurants. Relax, listen to Jazz music at the local nightspots. Return via helicopter to Rio’s International Airport for your flight home.
